FOLLY LANE 16-year-old Mark Rosengreen leaves Triumph's Paul McCurrigan trailing during a Coventry Evening Telegraph Cup quarter-final. The talented Rosengreen had hit a hat-trick on his debut but he failed to find the target in this match which ended in a 0-0 draw. But he still finished smiling for Folly Lane squeezed through on penalties to reach the semi-finals for the first time.

Dear Mark,
I was hoping to pass on my personal congratulations last Saturday. Since you were unable to attend Club because of your selection for the County I decided to write instead.
Everyone at the Club was delighted to hear of your selection for England. There can surely be no greater honour for any lad of your age. You have achieved marvellous prestige for yourself and the clubs with which you are involved.
We will watch your continued progress with great interest.
